It has been a great privilege to be a student of Sullivan  University under HTIR program. From the moment I landed at the airport, it has been a journey of self discovery, a sharing of cultures, and experience.  I have already learned life long lessons. I am positive that I will soon be in charge of my destiny.  The tailored acculturation class is slowly and surely developing my talents to be at the cutting edge in the financial markets at home in Bangladesh.  I am currently taking the responsibilities on my shoulder to become a leader in the field of my expertise.

 The cultural course is designed to appreciate a broader spectrum of American Society and comprehend their much preserved culture and find out some linkages and relevance that can be pragmatically applied in the business world.  From the first day that I walked on the school campus, I have received warm reception from many people, including Chancellor and President Sullivan.

  Our professor and director of the course Shawn Schwaner has taken us on various field trips through which we had the opportunity to meet many people, learned American culture through direct experience, and tasted wide range of delicious food. This played an enormous role to overcome any kind of cultural shock and we are feeling comfortable with the life at Louisville.  Shawn introduced us to many employees at Sullivan University and we received a warm and cordial welcome from every one of them. The classrooms are well designed and there is free access of internet in computer labs together with printing materials. The teaching mode is application-oriented and is entirely focused to prepare us for the current job environment. Hence, it is worthwhile to take the module to brush up my competencies and becomes a stronger person both academically and in working environment.

The student service provided us a warm reception; they organised introductory events to get us acquainted with the school and make us feel comfortable. The school authority arranged a nice, secured living accommodation with a varsity club, gym access, and we can even play pool until the club is closed in the evening.  There are excellent indoor and outdoor swimming facilities and the water is fully filtered and bleached with lukewarm temperature.

Employees in the admission are taking wonderful care for us and they give terrific advice and answered our queries. The entire process of enrolment at school has been made easier with their superior customer service and their ability to understand each of their customer requirements closely.  My experience has been nothing short of outstanding.
