Tempe, Arizona

University of Advancing Technology (UAT) is located in sunny Tempe, Arizona – part of the United State’s desert southwest.  Tempe is part of the greater Phoenix metropolitan area and is a well-known college town with many restaurants, nightlife, clubs, activities, museums and theaters in the area.  Tempe is half a day’s drive to both Los Angeles, CA (383 miles) and Las Vegas, NV (309 miles). 

UAT's Tempe campus is accessible from all parts of the Phoenix metropolitan region by public transportation, bicycles or automobile. Many students live off campus in nearby neighborhoods.  The University is close to major freeways, bus lines and Sky Harbor International.

The metropolitan Phoenix area is home to many top companies in the technology sector including:  The Boeing Company, Honeywell Industries, Intel Corporation, American Express, General Dynamics, IBM Corporation, Microchip Technology Inc., The Go Daddy Group Inc. and Raytheon Co.
