You can begin your study abroad by
completing these
five steps:
STEP 1:
SEND IN APPLICATION MATERIALS.
If
you are already a student in the U.S. and are wishing to
transfer to the co-op program, you can apply directly by
going to the
apply for program page. If you
are living abroad and need to apply for a visa from the U.S.
consulate in your home country, you may need to contact an
authorized office in your country or an authorized
consulting agency or placement agency there.
There may be an additional fee
charged by the consulting or placement agency to handle your
application material, assist you with complying with U.S.
government Immigration Service regulations, training you in
preparation for the visa interview with the U.S. consulate,
and in the scheduling of the dates for enrollment in the
program and for the visa interview. Please

consulting agent or placement agent in your area.
Visit the
apply for program
page where you
will find a list of the required documents that you will
need to send to us. After we receive your package you
will be notified within several weeks whether or not you
have been accepted into the program. Please note that
HTIR is responsible for all
preparatory details, pre-screening and visa advising.
Lincoln University makes all
decisions regarding admissions and issuing of the I-20.

STEP 2: WAIT FOR LETTER OF
ACCEPTANCE,

3: RECEIVE I-20 FORM
STEP 4:
PAY TO
THE U.S. GOVERNMENT THE SEVIS FEE.
Once you receive the I-20 you will need to pay the pay the
SEVIS fee.
STEP 5:
PREPARE FOR VISA INTERVIEW & APPLY FOR VISA.
When your I-20 form is ready to be sent out, we will send
you to our online visa course where you will be given information on ideas and tips you can use to
help you prepare for your interview with the U.S. visa
office. Because we have an immigration lawyer on our
staff, we can answer most of the questions you may have
regarding U.S. Immigration law and procedures.
